Walking Day Diversions - 30 June 2022

Due to the road closures between 07:00 and 13:00 across Warrington on Friday 30 June, several services will be on diversion around Warrington Interchange and other parts of town.
Services 3, 4, 17/17A (to Birchwood), 25, 28/28A
From Warrington Interchange via the tunnel/ service road via Legh Street and Midland Way to the roundabout, then either Battersby Lane or New Manchester Road to get back on normal route. Inbound journeys should operate the reverse of this route.
As a result, stops on Legh Street, White Hart & Rylands Street will not be served.
Service 1 & 12 to Westy
From Warrington Interchange via the tunnel/ service road via Legh Street, Midland Way, Brick Street/ Fennel Street, Mersey Street and (3rd exit at roundabout) to Bridgefoot then as normal route to Westy.
As a result, stops on Legh Street, White Hart & Rylands Street will not be served.
Service 1 & 12 from Westy
As normal from Westy to Kingsway South then Kingsway North, Manchester Road, Midland Way, Legh Street and to Warrington Interchange via service tunnel.
As a result Latchford Village and Knutsford Road will not be served.
Service 1 to Westy and X5 to Altrincham between 0900 and 1000
Will divert from Bridgefoot via Loushers Lane and Station Road into Latchford Village due to the closure on Knutsford Road.
Service 2 &11 to Westy
From Warrington Interchange via the tunnel/ service road, Legh Street, Midland Way, Manchester Road, Kingsway North and Kingsway South then as normal route to Westy.
Service 2 &11 from Westy
Normal route from Westy to Bridgefoot then Mersey Street, Fennel Street/Brick Street, Midland Way, Legh Street and to Warrington Interchange via service tunnel.
Services Cat 5, Cat 6, Cat 7, Cat 8/8A, Cat 9/9A/9B:
From Warrington Interchange via the tunnel/ service road, then Legh Street, Midland Way, Priestley Street, Milner Street, Liverpool Road, Parker Street, then back on normal route.
As a result stops on Legh Street and Sankey Street will not be served.
Inbound journeys should operate normal route to Parker Street, then Liverpool Road, (4th exit at roundabout) Priestley Street, Midland Way, Legh Street, tunnel/service road to Interchange.
Services 13, 14, 15, 16/16A, 17/17A (to and from Callands), 32:
From Warrington Interchange via the tunnel/service road, then Legh Street, Midland Way, Priestley Street to Crosfields Island, then back on normal route. Inbound journeys should operate the reverse of this route.
Services 19, 20, 21, 22:
From Warrington Interchange via the tunnel/ service road, then Legh Street, Midland Way, Lythgoes Lane and normal route from the traffic lights at junction of Orford Lane. Inbound journeys should operate the reverse of this route.
As is usual with events of this type, the roads affected may be reopened early on conclusion of the events. Alternatively, the duration of the events may be extended due to unforeseen circumstances.
