Service Changes from Monday 22nd July 2024

Several services will be being changed and improved from Monday, 22nd July 2024. Services CAT7/CAT8 and 11/12 are being enhanced to improve service levels, and other services are having improvements made to them to aid reliability and improve service patterns.

Please see below for details of the changes:

CAT5 / CAT6 / X5

• Time changes to some journeys to help improve reliability and improve service between Warrington and Stockton Heath.

CAT7 / CAT8 

• Frequency improved to hourly on each route throughout the day.
• CAT8 now serves Grappenhall Heys, Witherwin Avenue and Curzon Drive.
• CAT7 is re-routed to serve new areas of Stretton and Appleton and runs as a circular, serving new sections of route on Pewterspear Green Road, Blackcap Road, and Dipping Brook Avenue.

CAT9 / 9A

• All journeys now serve Antrobus.
• Other times have been changed to improve reliability.

• Now operates hourly throughout the day with additional peak journeys both AM and PM.
