We would like to apologise to all customers who have been affected by recent short notice cancellations caused by the nationwide bus driver shortage. Our drivers have worked throughout the pandemic and are working overtime to cover services.
Every effort is being made to recruit the additional drivers needed, with several trainees awaiting provisional licences. There are delays obtaining provisional licences that are extending the normal lead time for recruitment and training.
We are making some minor changes to the following services to temporarily remove some journeys.
- Service 1, 2 & 11
- Service 3 & 4
- Service 13 & 14
- Service 16 & 16A
- Service 17
- Service 20 & 21
- Service 22A
- Service 25
- Service 32
- Service CAT5, CAT6, CAT7 & CAT8
Like other bus companies (and hauliers), we are currently experiencing a staff shortage. We continue to make every effort to attract, train and retain drivers.
