About the Role:
As our Safety & Facilities Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness at our brand new depot and EV infrastructure. You'll report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with our team to ensure that our facilities are always in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures working with our Work Safe Always Ethos.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our depot and EV infrastructure.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a safety management role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach.
