On The Bus
We offer a range of tickets on the bus whether you are travelling alone or as a group. You can pay on bus using cash, contactless, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Singles
In the biggest bus fares change Warrington has seen for many years, Adults travelling on any Warrington’s Own Bus will pay just £2 flat fare per trip and young people under the age of 22 will pay just £1 flat fare per trip.
This is thanks to the support from the government’s Help for Households scheme and represents a massive reduction for many of our customers.
Standard single tickets can be purchased from the driver at any time for any journey on one bus, with child singles also available at reduced rates.
Adults pay just a £2 flat fare for any journey and young people under the age of 22 pay just £1 for any journey (not including school buses).
Day Returns
Day Returns are available from the driver for most journeys and are valid for one return journey on the day of issue.
Adults pay just £4. Children aged under 16 continue to pay fares based on the length of journey with the maximum being £3 (equivalent to a child day ticket).

We offer a range of day tickets that can be bought on bus or our mobile app and are valid for unlimited travel on the network on the day of issue. Fares are as follows:

They give unlimited travel on services 16, 16A, 20 and 21 on the day of issue and for the following six days.

Widnes Weekly (Valid on Service 32)
Regular travellers on service 32 can save money with a Widnes Weekly ticket.

Dogs
Dogs, on a lead, may be carried provided that they do not occupy a seat, do not cause inconvenience to other passengers and that there is sufficient room for them.
The charge is 50p per single journey. Guide dogs and 'hearing' dogs are carried free.
Warrington's Own Buses reserve the right not to carry any dog.
