Warrington's Own Buses Revitalises Concessionary Travel with Exciting New Marketing Campaign
7 months ago
Warrington's Own Buses is thrilled to announce the launch of its new marketing campaign in collaboration with White Lace Bakery in the Town Centre. The campaign, aptly named "Freedom Club," is designed to reinvigorate concessionary passengers' interest in bus travel by offering exclusive discounts and promotions in partnership with local businesses.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the transportation industry faced unprecedented challenges, including a noticeable decline in concessionary passengers. Warrington's Own Buses recognises the importance of encouraging these valued customers to return to bus travel and is dedicated to creating initiatives that benefit passengers and support local businesses.
Managing Director of Warrington's Own Buses, Ben Wakerley emphasised the significance of this campaign, stating, "The gradual return of concessionary customers to our buses post-COVID is crucial for our community. By fostering partnerships with local businesses like White Lace Bakery, we aim to not only enhance the passenger experience but also contribute to the economic vitality of our borough."
To kick off the campaign, Warrington's Own Buses will be hosting a special event at the bus station on Tuesday, 9th April, between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. During this time, a limited number of delectable Cream Tea Treats from White Lace Bakery will be available for customers as a token of appreciation.
Additionally, the partnership extends beyond the event, as any Warrington's Own Buses concessionary customer can enjoy exclusive discounts on High Tea and Cream Tea at White Lace Bakery simply by presenting their bus ticket.
The "Freedom Club" campaign aims to create a sense of community and camaraderie while encouraging concessionary passengers to explore the borough through convenient and FREE bus travel. If you haven’t got your FREE concessionary bus pass yet, you can find out more at www.warrington.gov.uk/buspass
